Solid Surface Showers

Solid Surface Showers In Colorado Springs

One molded surface. No tile, no grout, nothing to reseal.

Why We Build In Solid Surface

The wall with nothing to scrub.

Solid surface is a molded composite panel that goes in as one piece instead of hundreds of tiles and the grout between them. That single fact removes most of what people dislike about a shower: there is no grout to go black in the corners, nothing to reseal every year, and no cracked joint quietly letting water into the wall. It matters more here than in most places, because Colorado Springs is hard-water country and grout is exactly what scale holds on to. We are an authorized dealer of UpHome, and we fit it on conversions, walk-in showers and full remodels alike.

One molded surface, not hundreds of tiles

No grout lines, so nothing to scrub or reseal

Harder wearing than acrylic, easier to keep than tile

Slip-resistant bases and designer finishes

Lifetime warranty on materials and 3 years on workmanship

Solid Surface Or Tile?

Tile Looks Finished On Day One. Ask It Again In Year Three.

Tile is not a bad material, but the grout between it is the weak point, and grout is most of the surface area you actually touch. It is porous, it stains, it needs resealing, and when it fails it fails invisibly, behind the wall.

Quality company - responsive when asked questions, encouraged personal choices. Never felt pressured to choose a specific product. Specifically appreciated their willingness to make adjustments- for My project the willingness to do a work through with the tub - results are great. Taylor & Steve were on schedule. Really appreciated that they kept to the schedule (done in 3 days!) and were always concerned about leaving the worksite clean when they left for the day. Follow up was great and made sure the project was complete. Highly recommend & will definitely use them for the next bathroom remodel!

Questions, Answered

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a solid surface shower?

It is a molded composite panel that forms the shower wall as a single surface rather than as tiles with grout between them. The base and the walls go in as a system, which is why there is no mortar bed and no curing time.

For most households, yes, and the reason is maintenance rather than looks. Tile can be beautiful and we are not going to pretend otherwise. But grout is porous, it needs resealing, it marks with hard water, and it is where a shower usually starts failing. Solid surface removes that surface entirely. If your heart is set on a particular tile look, say so and we will tell you honestly what it will take to keep it.

A solid surface tub-to-shower conversion typically runs $12,000 to $16,000 depending on the size of the space, the base and the wall finish. Inside a full remodel it forms part of the $25,000 to $30,000 range. You get an exact written price at the free in-home visit.

No. It is non-porous, so there is nothing to seal and nowhere for water to soak in. Everyday cleaning is a cloth and ordinary bathroom cleaner, and hard-water marks wipe off rather than building up in a joint.

Yes. Materials carry a lifetime warranty, and our workmanship is covered for 3 years.
