What is the difference between an enclosure and a surround?
The surround is the waterproof wall material around the tub or shower, usually solid surface panels. The enclosure is the glass that closes the shower off. We fit both, and most jobs involve both.
Do you install frameless glass enclosures?
Yes, framed and frameless, sized to your shower and the look you are after.
Can a new surround fix a leak?
Often, yes. If water has been getting through a cracked or failing surround, replacing it properly stops it at the source. We open it up, fix what is behind it first, and then fit the new one.
Framed or frameless glass: which should I choose?
It comes down to the look you want. Frameless glass has no metal around the panels, so the shower looks more open. Framed glass has a metal edge, and black-framed glass makes that edge part of the design. We fit all three and price the one you choose at the free in-home visit.
